I have been working in the field of education since 1995. I hold a Master’s Degree in Education
from Wright State University. I began working as the director of Heritage Presbyterian
Preschool in 2014.  I love being able to interact with and observe children as they make new
discoveries in their world. I enjoy working together with teachers and parents to make these
early educational experiences meaningful and joyful. In my free time, I enjoy running, biking
and creating healthy meals to enjoy with my family.

I  have been teaching at Heritage Presbyterian Preschool since 2012 and I feel so blessed to have
the opportunity to work in such a friendly and supportive environment. I have lived here in
Mason most of my life and both of my sons are HPP graduates. I earned my Bachelor's Degree
from the University of Cincinnati and have had the opportunity to work with children in various
settings over the years. I love talking with children and watching them learn and grow. I think
that we can also learn a lot from the way they see the world. In my free time I enjoy hiking,
biking, reading, scrapbooking, cooking and spending time with my family and friends.

I am a graduate of the University of Dayton (go Flyers!) with both a Bachelor’s and Master’s Degree in Education. Prior to having children, I taught 6th  grade for 9 years. I had the wonderful opportunity to become a part of the Heritage family as an assistant teacher when my daughter was a student.  I am so glad to be joining the team again now that my son is a student. The children’s joy in discovering the world around them as they become more independent makes teaching preschool so fun! Outside of HPP, I enjoy volunteering at my daughter’s school, spending time with my family, and reading.

Young children bring me great joy and after a serious accident over a decade ago, I decided to
leave the corporate world and pursue teaching preschool. My goal for each student is to love
school, be confident in his/her abilities, and dream big! I hold a Bachelor’s of Science Degree in
Business from Indiana University and am pursuing certification in Child Development. In my
spare time, I enjoy sports, scrapbooking, volunteering, and reading.

My name is Miss Beth. I will be once again teaching the Sea Lions with Miss Debbie. I am a long time staff member at HPP having taught 2’s, 3’s, 4’s, 5’s and Music and Movement.
I have been married to my husband Steve for 26 years. We have 3 girls ages 24, 22 and 19. My oldest is a pre-k teacher in Mason, my middle daughter lives and works in Chicago and my youngest is a student at the University of Cincinnati. All three of my girls are HPP graduates (one of them had Miss Debbie as a teacher!) I am thrilled to be a member of HPP and can’t wait to work with your children this year!

Working with children brings me joy! Especially the preschool age where you can see the excitement young children have when making friends, and expressing themselves through play, games and song.  I studied Human Development and Learning at the University of North Carolina at Charlotte where I earned a bachelor’s degree.  I originally took the corporate route then pivoted to working with children after my own children were of school age. I volunteered as Sunday school teachers, VBS teachers, Scout co-leader, Preschool Board member, and Room Parent. I became a Preschool Teacher in Connecticut and after moving to Ohio, I joined HPP in 2012 as an Assistant in the 3-year-old Sea Turtle class and taught the Music and Movement class for 7 years. I am a member of Heritage Presbyterian Church where I have served as a Deacon and work on various committees.  I am married and have two grown sons, one daughter-in-law and one fur baby. I enjoy traveling, boating, cooking, reading, Bible studies and being with family and friends.

I studied education at Miami University, where I earned both bachelor’s and master’s degrees,
and have been teaching in public and private schools for over 25 years.  By far, my favorite age
to teach is preschool!  It’s fascinating to me to see my students grow as individuals and
learners, and I feel this is best done through purposeful play in a joyful environment.  I love
getting to know the wonderful families we serve at HPP by working together to make sure each
child has the best possible preschool experience. When I’m not working in my classroom or
creating activities for the children, I enjoy crafting, binge watching my favorite TV shows,
hanging out with my four grown children, and playing with my adorable granddaughter.  I also
love to travel with my husband and am always planning our next trip!

I am a wife and a mom, and for 14 years I was a childcare provider for teachers’ children.   My husband Alan and I have been married since 1987, and I was a stay-at-home mom of two daughters for much of that time.  Working with little children is my passion, and I have been part of the team at Heritage Presbyterian Preschool since 2017.  I have a Bachelor’s Degree from NKU.  In my free time, I enjoy spending time with family and friends, home decorating, and traveling.  I look forward to getting to know you and your precious children.

My youngest daughter is a 1997 graduate of HPP.  As a parent, I felt she was getting such a
great preschool education, I decided that I wanted to join in the fun as a teacher.  I have been
teaching at HPP since 1997. I love teaching and enjoy learning new educational techniques to
enhance your child's learning experience. I get very excited when I see a child get an "ah-ha"
moment.  Those moments let me know that I am doing my job and they keep me coming back
year after year.  In my spare time, I love to cook (eat), read and spend time with my three
daughters and their families.
