Inclement Weather Policy

When weather conditions are poor, Heritage Preschool will follow Mason City Schools schedule.  Tune to local radio and television stations to find out about school closings or delays.  The following guidelines will be adhered to for delays and closings:

When Mason Schools are closed, Heritage Preschool will close. 

When Mason Schools are on a delay, we will start at our regular time.

A calamity make-up day is built into the school calendar on Monday April 6, 2015.  After 5 regular classes of any preschool session are canceled due to inclement weather, or other emergency, children will attend school on this day as a make-up day. Children who miss 5 or fewer sessions due to weather, or other emergency, will have no school on the calamity make-up day.
